Boat:

• Carl Douglas racing rowing boat: SOLD.

Carl Douglas 2-/2x, 78Kg. Complete with black 2- and 2x rigging, 2 standard weight Dreissigacker oars and 4 Hudson "half-hatch" sculls. Photos of boat and oars/sculls available on request. The boat was new in August 1995 but is still in almost as-new condition, having only been raced at Veteran level for 3 seasons or so, as the purchase coincided with the arrival of our first child. The boat has had only one repair - to the spray deck after a minor collision - the repair was done by Carl himself.

I'll sell to the first buyer offering more than £5500 for the lot, saving an absolute fortune over a new CD pair/double, which would set you back about £9500 including VAT and the oars and sculls. This is a private sale so there's no VAT to add. Buyer collects from Staines Boat Club. Available now, subject to payment on collection by bankers draft.
