Main Functions

This program will be developed to do other tasks, but for now it:

1. Imports budget data to Dream from a CSV file using a predetermined column sequence in the CSV file.
2. Imports programming data to Dream direct from a programming database.
3. Exports CRM contact details and re-imports third-party contact mapping data

WARNING: Don't open any import CSV files in Excel and then save them, as data can be lost.

Service Control Application

• Determine the location of the settings XML file.
• Set location import folder and of log files.
• Test and save credentials for the import service to use.
• Set nominal to post to for each Dream company.
• Save the above to the settings XML file.

Budget Import

• Read settings from an XML file on the server.
• Monitor a dedicated network folder on a preset frequency.
• When an internal 'timer' fires, the look in the specified folder.
• If CSV files are found in the specified folder, import the budget data to Dream using the Dream External DLL.
• Report import failures to a failure log and program errors to an error log.
• Skip folder lookup if still working on files found on the last look.

Programming Import

• Read settings from an XML file on the server.
• Monitor the programming database for new events
• Adds missing events as Dream accounts and entities
• Adds missing Dream event accounts
